ISO 17025 Clause vs Documents requirement

Check which clause of the standard required which type of document, procedure, or records

The below table shows you exactly what you need to know, for example, Clause no. 5.3 required a document.

In ISO 17025:2017, you will find two types of records the first one is simply a record and the other is a retention record. It is compulsory to mention the duration of the retention record in the SOP or Quality Manual.

It is not necessary to maintain any document/procedure/records for other clauses which not mentioned here
